Frugal tip: Something we do is put away 10% of our income into a "For Others" category on our budget. That way we always have money set aside for birthdays, Christmas, and other opportunities to help others.

A frugal tip:
Just because you have a coupon for something doesn't mean you should buy that thing. If you won't use it, or you don't know someone else who could use it, it isn't worth it. Plus, a coupon might be for $1.00 off something that is $10. that's $9 wasted on something you don't really need, unless you need it of course.
